As we all know, it takes a lot of work to put on a Koi Show. When you have someone or several some ones, who help whenever it is needed, the show chair is very fortunate. Bruce Modetz did so much to help out and to reduce the workload for the chairpersons, from being a sounding board for various thoughts and ideas, brainstorming and researching ways to help with costs, helping with set up and take down, to completely taking care of the show site meals for members, vendors and visitors. Ray would call Bruce and Bruce would say “Don’t worry about it, I got it”. That’s a simple statement that provides so much relief for the Chairperson. The best part was, he did follow through and take care of what he promised.
We have known Bruce for a number of years now, and he is so enthusiastic about ponding and koi and this enthusiasm reflects in everything he does all year for the Michigan Koi and Pond Club.
