Fish Health Seminar
For those of you who have never attended a wet lab: in a wet lab seminar, you will learn to identify potential koi/fish health issues and how to cure your fish. Even more importantly you’ll learn what causes health issues.
Vicki Vaughn is the Director of Aquatic Services at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia. Vicki has developed fish medications and is a Partner in Koi Affiliates and breed’s high quality koi with Japanese brood stock at her facility in Georgia. Vicki was involved in the development of Tri-Cide Neo dip at the University of Georgia. This dip has been used by many in the koi hobby of curing fish with ulcerated conditions. If you have had sick fish, I am sure your local koi retailer has recommended this product. In addition, Vick Vaughn has put on 3 day seminars at University of Georgia for those veterinarians and retailers waiting to learn more about Koi and as it relates to fish health. If you want to learn more about Vicki Vaughn, Goggle Vicki Vaughn Koi Health and you get a lot of related material.
If you have never taken a Wet Lab seminar then now is the TIME. Many of us think nothing of spending $50.00 on a Koi. But our responsibility to raising these beautiful fish goes beyond the initial purchase. I had the opportunity to attend Vick’s wet lab seminar in Buffalo New York 3 years ago. It was well worth the time and the money.
